Love, that budding flower

Love, that beacon
that guiding light we all desire
where does it begin and why is it there
or does it matter not

for in our hearts are we not one
one with all that is good and pure and truthful
or are we evil
or are we a mix

Love is the pure and the true and the beautiful
while other things inside us and out are the evil
but without darkness there is no light
nor do we appreciate it as much

LOVE possesses though
embraces, warms, and delights the soul
LOVE is what we desire and
what moves us to be

Love is what I have for her
For her I would brave the falls
climb the everest of my mind
and tear down that wall
That wall that was built a brick at a time
just as Waters sang to us

but because of her
because of my desire
because of this feeling I get
when I'm around her
I'll tear that wall down
with so much force
it will shake the earth

I'll destroy it
I'll clean up its pieces
and wipe them away
and replace it with natural beauty
as an homage to her
and what she does to my heart

I will plant a field of tulips
for my love.
